What people ask us before starting
My company is small. Does this apply to me too?
Yes. The GDPR does not go by size, but by whether you handle personal data. A restaurant taking bookings, a hardware store with account customers, a club with members or a company running payroll is already processing personal data and has the same basic obligations as a multinational.
What is the DPO and why do you include it?
The Data Protection Officer is the person who oversees compliance and acts as the contact point with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. We are qualified to take on that role and we do so without any extra cost to the client.
Do you work with standard documents?
No. There are no standard people and no standard companies. Contracts and clauses are written for each client, which is exactly what makes them hold up if one day they have to be defended.
Is everything done remotely?
No. The compliance work is done on site, unlike other firms in the sector that settle it over the phone or by sending a form. We come to your company and see it for ourselves.
